World Cup history
Uruguay es dos veces campeón mundial: ganó el primer Mundial en 1930 como país anfitrión y volvió a ser campeón en 1950 con el célebre 'Maracanazo'. Además, fue campeón olímpico en 1924 y 1928, títulos reconocidos por la FIFA como mundiales. Hasta 2026, ha disputado 14 ediciones, clasificándose también para la de 2026.
